Falling plant-holder seriously injured pub customer

This week I delivered a 4 hr lecture on accident investigation to students on the Environmental Health course.  This will be followed up with 2 further lectures taking the students through a fatal accident that they will have to investigate and then be cross examined in a mock trial.

Just spent the afternoon with a local authority helping them with their investigation. Very productive.

Spent 2 days helping to deliver accident investigation training to a group of local authorities. The training is scenario based using role play to present the accident. Delegates have to interview the witnesses/characters to investigate.

Have a read and then look at the legislation. If you’re expecting to find health and safety in the legislation don’t hold your breath… A pretty poor example of health and a safety bashing.
